As part of a Waste Management and Beautification project in the St Anthony’s R. C. Primary School, driven by two interns there was a demonstration on how to prepare compost in the school. On 17th May 2013, Christine, Jamie, Ohene and Dorothy took a field trip to the St. Anthony’s R.C Primary and JHS to plant the fruiting and flowering plants as part of the Waste Management and Beautification Project. The CDDF Team informed the Head teacher of the school upon their arrival and the students were organized into groups for the commencement of the exercise. The teachers joined in and helped with the supervision of the exercise.
The new volunteers namely Richard Kasu, Elvis Dun-Dery Jnr., Jacklin Akuamoah and Festus Tettey met the President of CDDF-Africa for a short meeting.The President advised the volunteers to dedicate themselves to work hard so that the stated objectives of the foundation can be met. The volunteers also assured him (President) for their readiness to hard work and improve the image of the foundation
